This template is used for edos where a sharp raises by 6 steps. This symbol set is based on ups and downs notation and comprises sharps, flats, naturals, and Stein–Zimmerman quartertone accidentals with arrows from Helmholtz–Ellis notation.

Passing in 72 as a single unnamed parameter will change Step offset to Semitones in the case of 72edo, since 72edo is a superset of 12edo.

Alternative symbols for ups and downs notation
Template:Sharpness-sharp6a – an alternate version of this template that shows separate arrows.
Template:Sharpness-sharp6-qt – a modified version of this template that uses arrows on quarter tone accidentals instead of double arrows.
Template:Sharpness-sharp6-iw – another modified version based on Ivan Wyschnegradsky's notation for 72edo.
