In [[19edt]], 5L 4s⟨3/1⟩ neatly functions as a 2:3:4-based scale. Through this interpretation, 2:3:4, 3:4:6, and 4:6:9 are all represented by the root, fourth, and seventh. This means they would all be thought of as variations of the same chord, the same way 4:5:6 and 10:12:15 are in [[5L 2s]]. This gives a rather approachable interpretation of previously daunting tritave systems, such as [[14edt]], as a very poor-accuracy representation of this 2:3:4 system.

It can also be thought of as an extension of [[3L 3s]].
