Yahoo Tuning Groups List. March 4th, 2006.</ref>) was an Uruguayan chemist and the inventor of the [[dinarra]], a 53-tone microtonal guitar. In his 1994 book "Principles of Dynamic Range", he discusses the theory and practice of the instrument. The 7-limit [[Schismatic_family#Garibaldi|garibaldi temperament]] is named for him, but the 1/9-schisma tuning he advocated made his dinarra tuning optimized more for pontiac, with a tuning close to that of [[171edo]], so that it would actually possess numerous tetrads of [[Schismatic_family#Pontiac|pontiac temperament]].

He was president of the Inventors' Association of Uruguay.
