not-included enumeration

FloraC, you mentioned Archytas clan #Beatles and Gamelismic clan #Miracle, can you please help me understand why? I followed all the other links and saw 2401/2400 mentioned somewhere there but found nothing the like in case of these both temperaments. --Xenwolf (talk) 15:04, 22 October 2020 (UTC)

Beatles 2401/2400 = (686/675)/(64/63)
Miracle 2401/2400 = (1029/1024)/(225/224)
So 2401/2400 really is tempered out, though it's not one of the simpler commas. FloraC (talk) 15:37, 22 October 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for the explanation. It's helpful to see some relation between our temperament descriptions and the temperament finder scripts. TBH I've still problems to follow the logic... --Xenwolf (talk) 17:08, 22 October 2020 (UTC)
The logic is if you temper out two commas, you temper out all their linear combinations. I hope that makes sense to you. FloraC (talk) 17:37, 22 October 2020 (UTC)
Makes absolutely sense now. The linear combinations apply to the exponents. It's of course hard to see how combinations of fractions relate. Thanks for the help. --Xenwolf (talk) 05:53, 23 October 2020 (UTC)

Clan or family?

Is this a clan or a family? Depending on the answer, I suggest to rename the page to Breedsmic clan or Breedsmic family. --Xenwolf (talk) 16:37, 3 January 2021 (UTC)

I laid out the naming scheme in Talk:936/935. And there's even an enthusiastic further proposal in Xenharmonic Wiki:Things to do #13-Limit,17-Limit and 19-Limit Comma Pages, which I'm hesitant to engage in. FloraC (talk) 17:10, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
Sorry I don't understand what you are saying here. I was just asking for the lemma of this page, its title. --Xenwolf (talk) 18:14, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
According to the name scheme, the answer is neither. FloraC (talk) 04:37, 6 January 2021 (UTC)
