From that perspective, neither MediaWiki's Universal Code of Conduct or the XA Discord's rules could be used directly, but we could take inspiration from both of them.

Hi there. I'm not sure how best to reach the admins on this wiki, but this seemed like an alright approach.

I notice that our wiki appears to lack rules of conduct. Having rules is good and standard practice to help maintain order, safety, happiness, etc. I'm aware that there have been some difficult to moderate conflicts on the wiki in the past, so having rules would protect everyone and make the jobs of admins here easier too.

I see that earlier this year Wikipedia introduced a "Universal Code of Conduct" (https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Universal_Code_of_Conduct), so we could simply point to that ourselves if people are amenable to it.

Otherwise we could draw inspiration from rules of conduct on existing Xenharmonic-related social media groups, like on Facebook and Discord. Or just hash some out ourselves here.
