<p>First attempt at a user page.</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>Hello, I&#039;m dw0391, and I am interested in microtonal music theory and temperament systems (I don&#039;t play any instrument explicitly capable of this, though (yet)).<br /> <br /> Obviously, 12-ED2 has been arrived at and maintained as a standard tuning system for Western music theory and for a lot of music around the world. I believe that the establishment of such a standard has been and is good for musicians everywhere, as they are able to express themselves relatively quickly and simply without concerning themselves with instrument tuning. I am also glad that public awareness of alternative theories and practices is increasing, however incrementally. I am happy that a resource like this Wiki exists, which is why I joined in August of 2019.<br /> <br /> More to come of this user page when I have more time.</div>
