I'm not familiar with the notion of "scale rank" as used on this page, and can't find where it's explicitly defined. I'm only previously familiar with the term "rank" as it used for [[regular temperament]]s, i.e. the count of different [[generator]] sizes. This usage of "rank" here seems like it's synonymous with the [[maximum variety]] of the scale — or am I misunderstanding? (I'm certainly not an expert on MV.) If it is the same meaning as MV, though, then why not use that terminology instead? I will probably not be the only reader with an RTT background who gets confused by this use of "rank". Or perhaps there is some connection between the two meanings I'm not seeing, which is quite likely, but if so, then it could be helpful to illuminate it. Thanks in advance for your attention to my clarification questions.
