No. I think that the special meaning of the octave is widely accepted,<br />

also in xenharmonic context (The existence of terms like nonoctave and<br />

edonoi seem to confirm this). The dominance of the decimal system needs<br />

no discussion here, it's of course used in cent values etc.<br />

Millioctaves are scaled binary logarithms and can therefore be<br />

"calculated" easily by shifting the decimal point.<br />

The fact that millioctaves are not used is another matter entirely.<br />
