Paul Hahn is a musician and theorist. He is a giant in the world of [[regular temperament]] theory (RTT) and developed many ideas which are now fundamental pillars of the field.

He is a singer, cellist, violinist and keyboardist. In 1988, he graduated from Washington University, St. Louis with a bachelors degree in music.

In the 1990s, he conducted the Saint Louis Taiwanese Youth Chamber Orchestra (STYCO).

Through the 2000s, he sang with the vocal jazz ensemble ‘Offbeat’.
