They correspond to the English terms trichord, [[tetrachord]], and pentachord. A &amp;#039;&amp;#039;maqam&amp;#039;&amp;#039; is made up of two or more &amp;#039;&amp;#039;ajnas&amp;#039;&amp;#039;. &lt;br /&gt;
