This expands the slightly distorted whole tone scale of the [[5-7-9-11 hexany|base hexany]] out into a more complex one where each of the degrees has two or three different notes a comma apart. It still lacks any perfect fifths, with the closest approximation being the [[385/384]] flat one between 77/64 and 9/5, which is close enough to serve as a stable rooting point but lacks any familiar thirds. This means that any music created using this scale will be either purely melodic or highly xenharmonic. <br />
