This creates a scale of 1 81/80 9/8 27/20 3/2 9/5 2/1, with steps of 81/80 10/9 6/5 10/9 6/5 10/9. This is a detemper of the basic 5-limit pentatonic scale, only with one of the notes having two variants a [[syntonic comma]] apart that can be used to create or evade dissonance. Since this melodically limited and not very xenharmonic, this is mainly useful for demonstrating the problems that arise from using 5-limit just intonation rather than an equal temperament. <br />
