New page

A 17-odd-limit stellated Hexany. This creates a scale of 1 65/64 17/16 1105/1024 5/4 85/64 13/8 221/128 2/1, with steps of 65/64 68/65 65/64 256/221 17/16 104/85 17/16 256/221. This only adds two notes to the base hexany, which do not reduce the size of the largest step, but do add a couple of diatonic fifths sharp by 256/255 to your harmonic options, giving you some points of stability even if there are no simple 5-limit chords and the overall sound remains quite xenharmonic.
