With a [[385/384|keenanismic]] minor seventh chord above the root note, this is solidly rooted and quite pleasant sounding despite the obviously xenharmonic quartertone steps, making it a definite improvement on the [[1-3-7-11 hexany|base hexany]] despite only adding two notes, as they decrease the size of the largest step and increase the number of perfect fifths from 2 to 4.<br />
