This creates a scale of 1 135/128 9/8 5/4 45/32 3/2 27/16 15/8 2/1, with steps of 135/128 16/15 10/9 9/8 16/15 9/8 10/9 16/15. This is an unambiguous detemper of the lydian mode of the [[meantone]] diatonic scale with a single extra note added. It has 6 perfect fifths and one that is flat by a [[syntonic comma]] in the middle of the chain, which identifies it specifically as a detemper of quarter-comma meantone. This means it has many familiar and highly consonant chords, but also most of the same limitations as the standard diatonic scale. If you want to expand it to a 12 note scale, [[Septimal Canright]] contains all these notes and an additional four that neatly fill the gaps.<br />
